AARP Offers Driver Safety Class

Learn valuable defensive driving skills and how to adapt to driving as you age.

AARP will be offering a Driver Safety Program at the Grayslake Fire Station #1, 160 Hawley Street, in downtown Grayslake on August 23 and 24. The course is from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m with a cost of $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. All ages are welcome.

Since 1979, the AARP has helped over 13 million drivers learn safety strategies and adapt to physical and cognitive changes related to aging. The course teaches valuable defensive driving skills and provides a refresher of the rules of the road. Participants may also qualify for an automobile insurance discount by completing the classroom course.
