Grayslake Tree Lighting is Tonight

Kick off the winter holiday season with the annual Grayslake Tree Lighting Festival from 5-8 p.m. this evening in the downtown.

 

The Grayslake Chamber of Commerce will host a Tree Lighting Festival and Holiday Market and Treats in downtown Grayslake on Friday, Nov. 23, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Santa arrives at the Holiday Tree on the corner of Center Street and Seymour Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Afterward, visit with Santa at The Oasis at 151 Hawley from 5:45 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Enjoy sleigh and pony rides from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Center Street. There will be two Center Street locations where sleighs will be loaded and unloaded.

The Holiday Market, featuring holiday items for sale, opens at 5 p.m. Downtown Businesses will also be open late so you can get a jump start on your holiday shopping.

What a shame, our town chooses to be inclusive instead of screaming rants. Relax Marilyn, the meaning of the season includes joy, not vitriol.
