Hartstein Backs Schneider for Congress

Letter to the Editor

It has been frustrating observing our polarized Congress and seeing too many members take extreme positions and being unwilling to work together to find real solutions to issues. That makes it critical for all of us to find the best possible Candidates to go to Washington to represent us. That is why I have personally taken the time to sit down with the Democratic candidates in the tenth congressional district to hear their views and positions and their approach to dealing with issues, gone to forums to hear how they handle themselves, reviewed their web pages, scrutinized their answers to candidate questionnaires, and looked at their literature and closely watched the evolution of their campaigns.

Though the field is an impressive group of dedicated and thoughtful and energetic campaigners, I believe that Brad Schneider is the best candidate to represent our diverse district. After thorough review of the backgrounds, experiences, positions and approaches of all the candidates I have personally concluded that Brad Schneider is the best Democratic candidate to represent our entire District and has the background and experience to both win in November and to go onto to Washington to fight for us in Congress and work collaboratively to find real solutions to the challenges facing our nation.

I urge others to join me in casting your vote for Brad Schneider in the Democratic primary for the tenth congressional district. Brad Schneider is an experienced pragmatic progressive Democratic voice with over 20 years of varied business experiences that gives him the best foundation to go to Congress to credibly fight to implement and maintain our Democratic values and strengthen our economy. I am convinced that his extensive experience and business sense will allow him to effectively fashion solutions for our many challenges ranging from protecting our safety net programs like social security and medicare to creating a fair tax system, and doing what is necessary to create jobs and markets to get us back on a sound financial footing for all Americans.

I urge voters to consider that this Democratic Congressional race is a watershed election, and that in view of the reconfiguration of the district has an even stronger Democratic constituency. That makes coming out to vote in the primary more important than ever.
