List of States with Democratic Govenors with nearly identical change
Oregon 1.1
North Carolina 1.1
Arkansas .8
Connecticut 1.1
COlorado .3
Delaware .5
Illinois 1.1
Kentucky 1.4
Massachusetts 1.4
Missouri 1.3
Minnesota, Vermont, West Virginia all 1.0
Montana .6
New York however went backwards by .5%. The only one. Thier Neighbor New Jersey was a .1 change. So Christie has some work to do as well.

You are not using the same dataset. The data examined was of Gov's elected in 2010 an taking office in Jan 2011. You are using Gov's elected in other than 2010 so their times in office so you are comparing apples to oranges.

To make it easier so you don't actually have to click a link to see the 8 Dem Gov data who were elected in 2010 and took office in 2011:
Colorado - 8.8% to 8.1% = a decline of 0.7%
New York - 8.2% to 8.6% = an increase of 0.4%
Oregon - 9.9% to 8.4% = a decline of 1.5%
California - 12.1% to 10.8% = a decline of 1.3%
Connecticut - 9.3% to 7.8% = a decline of 1.5%
Hawaii - 6.7% to 6.3% = a decline of 0.4%
Minnesota - 6.8% to 5.6% = a decline of 1.2%
Vermont - 6.0% to 4.6% = a decline of 1.4%

Not really apples to oranges, more like apples to rotten apples.. All I was trying to do was counter that the Democratic Govenors are doing just as good as the Republican Govenors. In Fact your numbers were even better than the ones I posted. So Thank you for helping my point along. I was not disputing your numbers, just showing that there are other sides out there as well.

LOL @SJ, keep on spinning. The Rep Gov's improved a full 50% faster than the job market nationally and that of the Dem Gov's.

Lennie, I an not spinning, those are your numbers. you can give percentages all you want. but 1 person is only 50% of 2 people and 1 person is 1% of 100 people. Hence the reason why I ask about total people back to work and not percentages. Percentages can be misleading.

Oh, what are the total number of people put back to work in each state? How about just number of newly employed in Democratic Govenor states and Republican Govenor states? Who has more total people back to work as percentages can be misleading. Oh, and I do not have the answer. I was actually asking for the answer.
