New stadium lights have been installed at Grayslake Central High School. Four 70-foot high steel replaced the old wood poles. The new stadium lights were approved by the D127 Board of Education. Football coach Nick Goshe said the lights will benefit several sports and organizations. "This is a great thing for all the programs at GCHS that perform under the lights," Goshe said. "It doesn’t matter if it is football, the marching band or lacrosse. The better the facility, the better our community can come together and enjoy the talents of our young people."
