The purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitters Training course is to provide individuals with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or adult guardians. Get the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school-age children. Please bring a sack lunch, drink and doll with you to class.

From a Boogie Babies dance class to a Nifty Fifty-Plus seniors club, the Grayslake Community Park District truly offers something for all ages. There are 32 parks, about 16 trails, one golf course, one beach and a modern community center within the Park District. Their mission is: "enhancing the quality of life in the Grayslake community by providing year round leisure services, preserving open space and fostering community pride." It is a separate government agency. The district offers leisure programs, activities and special events for people of all ages.
