11th annual Cookie Walk at UPC Grayslake Dec. 1
The community is invited to come pick out delicious holiday treats for gift-giving and holiday parties from among thousands of cookies at the 11th Annual Cookie Walk from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the United Protestant Church of Grayslake.
Shoppers may choose from thousands of cookies at this festive event, which features delicious home-made cookies, candies and holiday treats, all priced at $7 per pound.
The event will be held in the lower level of the church Fellowship Hall, located in downtown Grayslake at the corner of Park and Whitney Streets. The Cookie Walk is sponsored by the UPC Women’s Christian Fellowship, with proceeds to benefit their mission activities. For more information, call UPC at (847) 223-8131. More About United Protestant Church
The United Protestant Church in Grayslake is a unique congregation that is a federated church comprised of two denominations, United Methodist and the United Church of Christ. The senior pastor is Rev. David Russell and the interim associate pastor is Rev. Merlyn Lawrence. The church encourages disciples to develop deeper relationships with God, others and self and to connect one's faith with one's life in service to the community and beyond. The UPC is a member of the Elgin District of the United Methodist Church and the Fox Valley Association of the United Church of Christ.
