Our program for this meeting will be "Vertical Growing System - The Tower" and our speaker will be Bree Cahill, who is a math teacher at Grayslake North.
Bree grew up working in her grandmother's garden and wanted to have the same when she grew up however she could never find the time in her busy schedule. She discovered a vertical growing system called "The Tower". This system uses aeroponic technology developed by NASA.
Join us as she takes us on her journey as an aeroponic gardener and learn what O'Hare airport and the rest of the world is doing with these towers allowing anyone with a "brown thumb" the ability to be a master gardener...or at least feel like one!
Refreshments will be served. We are always looking for new members.
