The SEDOL Foundation's Making Strides for Special Kids is having tremendous success in both fundraising efforts and CARA certification of the race. We're so excited and hope you are too!

We are so excited to announce that our 5K/10K Run & Family Walk on September 17th is certified by the Chicago Area Runners Association! We have high hopes for Making Strides for Special Kids.

Not only have we raised 71% of our fundraising goal, but now we are also pleased to have the high standard of quality that comes with a CARA certified race. Here's a little bit more about CARA:"This race has applied for and received the Chicago Area Runners Association designation as a CARA CERTIFIED RACE.

This race has agreed to adhere to and uphold CARA’s Best Practices Guidelines.  These Guidelines embody the highest standards for quality, safety and comfort for participants in a road race.Due to CARA’s advocacy efforts, runners in the Chicagoland area enjoy some of the highest quality road races in the country.  To view the Guidelines and to learn more about CARA, visit www.cararuns.org.
