We are so excited to announce that our 5K/10K Run & Family Walk on September 17th is certified by the Chicago Area Runners Association! We have high hopes for Making Strides for Special Kids.
Not only have we raised 71% of our fundraising goal, but now we are also pleased to have the high standard of quality that comes with a CARA certified race. Here's a little bit more about CARA:"This race has applied for and received the Chicago Area Runners Association designation as a CARA CERTIFIED RACE.
This race has agreed to adhere to and uphold CARA’s Best Practices Guidelines. These Guidelines embody the highest standards for quality, safety and comfort for participants in a road race.Due to CARA’s advocacy efforts, runners in the Chicagoland area enjoy some of the highest quality road races in the country.
