Culver's of Grayslake raises funds for Muscular Dystrophy Association

Culver’s of Mundelein is participating in the Muscular Dystrophy Association's annual Shamrocks program. The restaurant is encouraging customers to purchase a paper shamrock during the final weeks of the month-long program, which is in support of children and adults affected by muscle disease now until March 17, 2014.

Nearly 30 Culver’s locations in Northern Illinois have been supporting the fight against muscle disease since February 15, and has raised $9,000 thus far during the popular St. Patrick's Day campaign.
Culver’s has participated in the MDA Shamrocks program for several years. The fundraiser centers on $1 green and $5 gold shamrocks that customers can purchase and sign, and then they are displayed throughout Culver’s to create a St. Patrick’s Day atmosphere.

Funds raised through 2014 Shamrock sales will help send area children affected by muscular dystrophy and related diseases to MDA summer camp in Hudson, IL, among other services and life-saving research.
