Summer Days Parade Winners Announced
Grayslake, August 19, 2013- The Grayslake Chamber of Commerce Summer Days Parade held Saturday, August 17, was a huge success. This year’s parade theme “Dancing with the Stars in Grayslake” offered entertainment for the entire family including Marching Bands from Grayslake North and Central High Schools, Just for Fun Roller Rink, The Grayslake Fire Department and Historical Society and so many more local and regional participants.
The Summer Days Parade, organized by the Grayslake Area Chamber of Commerce was sponsored by Gold Sponsors: Baxter & Woodman, Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Inc. & State Bank of the Lakes.

“The parade was a great success,” stated Karen Christian Smith, Executive Director of the Grayslake Chamber. “We had a fabulous turn out! The participation of the businesses and civic groups was overwhelming. Spectators lining the parade route were not disappointed and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time!”
