Yingling Launches New Job Listing Feature on Website

HAINESVILLE, Ill. – In an effort to provide more resources to his constituents, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Hainesville, added a new feature to his website that will list any employment opportunities that are available in or around the 62nd district. The “Job Announcements” tool is located conveniently on his homepage and will be updated every Monday with new job listings throughout the area.

“As our state and local economy steadily works to improve, I want to make sure that my office is providing any and all resources available to the people of my district who are in need of work,” Yingling said. With the unemployment rate still too high, it is important that residents have access to current job listings in and around the district. As our areas full-time state representative, it is a priority for me to provide as much help as I can to individuals who are looking for employment right here in our community.”

The new tool can be found at Yingling’s website, www.repsamyingling.com, easily located on the homepage. The feature is titled “Job Announcements” and will provide information regarding local job listings that service the communities surrounding the 62nd district in Lake County as well as neighboring counties when that information is available. Any resident will be able to easily access the job feature for their reference and any employer who wishes to list a job opening may contact Rep. Yingling’s office directly to post a new job.

“My top priority is to be as accessible as possible to the residents I represent and this new feature on my website will help link job seekers with current employment opportunities throughout the area,” Yingling said. “Unemployment remains far too high across the state and specifically in our community. Round Lake Beach has an unemployment rate of 16.9 percent according the Illinois Department of Employment Security’s latest unemployment figures. This is a major deficiency and a top priority of mine to fix. As the Legislature works in Springfield to improve the economy across the state I want to make sure I am working with as many local partners as I can to help the people in the 62nd district find jobs right here that will support them. I’m happy to have this new resource available to the residents I serve.”

Yingling represents the 62nd District, which contains portions of Gages Lake, Grayslake, Hainesville, the Round Lake communities, Third Lake, Wauconda and Wildwood. For more information, please contact Yingling’s full-time constituent service office at 847-231-6262 or repsamyingling@gmail.com
