Yingling to Hold Monthly Extended Office Hours for Working Families

HAINESVILLE, Ill. – In an effort to make the services of his office available to working families and constituents with busy schedules, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, will keep his full-time constituent service office open until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24.

“My top priority as state representative is to be accessible to the constituents I represent. I understand that every family has schedules that change from week to week and I want to be sure that I am making myself available outside of the normal working hours of the week so families can share their ideas about the issues facing our state,” Yingling said. “I want to make sure that members of our community have every opportunity to be able to contact me with their concerns.”

Yingling will keep his full-time constituent service office open until 7 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month to accommodate working families and constituents who cannot make it in during normal business hours. Yingling’s office is located at 20 W. North Street in Hainesville and is open regularly from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m, Monday through Friday.  

As a full-time state representative, Yingling strives to remain accessible to constituents. In an effort to accommodate the schedules of working residents, Yingling holds regular early-morning coffee shop stops throughout the district and walks door-to-door in order to meet with constituents one-on-one at their homes.  Constituents can also request meetings with Yingling on his website, www.repsamyingling.com. 

“I encourage residents to stop by after work to discuss their thoughts on the current issues facing the state,” Yingling added. “The more opportunities I have to talk with constituents, the more information I will have to take to Springfield to represent the people of our communities.”
