Yingling to Host State Services Fair
HAINESVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, will host a State Services Fair on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Grayslake Park District Recreation Center, located at 240 Commerce Drive in Grayslake. The fair will give residents a chance to speak directly with representatives from multiple state agencies and discuss the services they provide.
“As a state legislator, I strive to be accessible to the people I represent and to ensure state government is working effectively for the residents of my district,” Yingling said. “I am committed to bringing the resources of my office and those of state agencies directly to the people. This fair will not only allow me an opportunity to listen to their ideas and concerns, but it will also give my constituents direct access to many state agencies in person.”
The State Services Fair will host representatives from the Illinois Attorney General’s office, Comptroller’s office, Treasurer’s office and Department of Natural Resources, as well as information from the Secretary of State and the Alzheimer’s Association. Visitors will be able to learn about what each agency or organization does for the state along with what services they provide to the residents of Illinois and have questions answered.
