HAINESVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is encouraging constituents to share their thoughts while getting their morning coffee on Monday, Sept. 23 in Grayslake. Yingling will ask constituents for their thoughts about issues facing the state at a coffee shop stop at Something’s Brewing, 1126 E. Washington Street in Grayslake from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m.
“I want to continue to be accessible to the residents of our community and hear directly from them about the issues facing our state,” Yingling said. “I’ve had many great conversations throughout the summer and this is another opportunity to reach out to the people I represent and hear what matters most to them.”
Yingling, who has met with constituents at coffee shops in Grayslake, the Round Lake area and Wauconda, plans to continue talking to as many people as possible throughout the district. A fulltime state representative, Yingling is committed to making himself accessible to constituents, and will continue to host regular coffee shop stops and community events and walk door-to-door to hear constituents’ thoughts on state issues.
