Yingling to Listen to Constituents at Variety of Citizens’ Advisory Committees

HAINESVILLE, Ill. – In a continued effort to be accessible, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, will host a series of citizens’ advisory committees this month. Yingling will discuss a variety of topics including women’s issues, senior issues, economic development, and education issues, offering constituents an opportunity to make their voices heard, and help craft his legislative priorities. 

“As a full-time state representative my job is to listen to the voices of my constituents,” Yingling said. “The discussions I’ve had with the people who join my advisory committees have been incredibly productive. I want to continue to make myself accessible and talk with as many people as possible. These conversations will help me tell the Legislature exactly what the people of this district expect.”

Yingling’s advisory committee meetings will all be held at his full-time constituent service office located at 20 W. North Street, in Hainesville. The meetings are open to the public. The schedule for September is as follows:

Senior’s Issues: Monday, Sept. 9 at Noon

Economic Development: Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m.

Women’s Issues: Monday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m.
