Yingling to Listen to Constituents at Variety of Citizens’ Advisory Committees
HAINESVILLE, Ill. – As part of his ongoing effort to be accessible and make the voices of his constituents heard, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, will host a series of citizens’ advisory committees in October. Yingling will continue to craft his legislative agenda by discussing a variety of topics with advisory committee members, including public safety, veterans’ issues, health care, and issues facing young families.
“As a full-time state representative my job is to listen to the voices of my constituents,” Yingling said. “The discussions I’ve had with constituents who join my advisory committees have been very productive and enjoyable. I want to continue to make myself accessible and talk with as many people as possible. These conversations help me tell the Legislature exactly what the people of this district expect.”
Yingling’s advisory committee meetings will all be held at his full-time constituent service office located at 20 W. North Street in Hainesville. The meetings are open to the public. The schedule for October is as follows:

Public Safety: Thursday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m.
Veterans’ Issues: Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m.
