Yingling to Listen to Constituents, Discuss Environmental Issues at Forum

HAINESVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, will update constituents on conservation and ecological issues at an environmental forum on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. in the Byron Colby Barn, 1561 Jones Point Road in Grayslake. Yingling will be joined by representatives from the Illinois Environmental Council, the Illinois Sierra Club and the Woods and Wetlands Group.

“I want to continue to be accessible to the people I represent and hear directly from them about the issues facing our state,” Yingling said. “Our environment and our natural resources are very important to the residents of my district, and I am excited to have these great speakers here to share their expertise with our community. This will be good opportunity for people to ask questions and discuss ways to protect our environment for the next generation.”

Yingling will be joined by Illinois Environmental Council executive director Jen Walling, Illinois Sierra Club executive director Jack Darin and Barbara Klipp from the Woods and Wetlands Group to give a legislative update on environmental issues and to answer questions.
