Yingling will Host Shred and Recycle Day for Area Residents

HAINESVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is inviting residents of the 62nd district to attend a shred and recycling day on Saturday, July 19 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Grayslake North High School located at 1925 N. Illinois Route 83 in Round Lake Beach.

“It is important that we work together as a community to be more environmentally friendly.” Yingling said. “This event is a great opportunity for people in our area to protect their identities while helping to preserve the environment.”

Yingling is co-hosting the event with The Sierra Club, Incinerator Free Lake County, Clean Power Lake County, and the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County. There will be a large shredding machine on site as well as electronics and medication disposal services.

“We are excited to be part of this event and we are sure it is going to be a big success.” said Evan Craig, Chair of the Local Sierra Club Group. “Sustainable resource management is a significant environmental issue and we are delighted to collaborate with Representative Yingling in this event.”
