Yingling’s Job and Hiring Fair Was a Hit with Area Residents

HAINESVILLE, Ill. – State Representative Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, hosted a job fair on Wednesday, June 18, as part of ongoing efforts to help the people of Lake County find work, drawing a large crowd.

“It is important to me that I help get our community back to work, and residents have access to quality, local jobs,” Yingling said. “This is part of my ongoing effort to reduce unemployment in our area, and I was grateful for the opportunity to organize this event to get local employers in touch with potential employees.”

The fair was held at the Round Lake Beach Civic and Cultural Center. Over 200 job-seekers turned out for the event, which featured a diverse set of job openings. There were over 50 area employers and service agencies looking to fill a variety of positions for people of many educational and professional backgrounds. 133 people were hired as a direct result of the Job and Hiring Fair.
