'Don Juan' Looking for a New Home

Don Juan, aka Donovan, is Save-a-Pet's animal of the week.

I was lucky that someone cared. See my original guardian was a hoarder and got hospitalized. The house was deemed no longer livable. It had to get cleaned and get the city permit. So what would become of me? Someone took action and I spent a few weeks in a home with another dog and a small kid while waiting to see what would happen. Anyway, I couldn't go back to my original home so came to Save-A-Pet. My temporary family said that I was a very peaceful and quiet guy that did well when left alone. If you are looking for someone to go on walks every day yet won't pester you to play all day, I'm your guy.

As he tested heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment, he is looking for a temporary foster home interested in adopting him once he is negative. For information, please email adoptions@saveapetil.org or call (847) 740-7788, ext. 101.

This corgi mix is about 7 years old, neutered, up-to-date on routine shots and rabies, and microchipped.
