"Bounce On In," Blood Drive Held This Weekend At UPC

Kids can enjoy an inflatable moonwalk to bounce on in for fun at the Grayslake United Protestant Church on Oct. 29. The church is also holding a blood drive on Oct. 30.

Community events will be held at the this weekend to provide family fun and to collect blood for LifeSource.

The UPC Children’s Ministry Committee will sponsor its annual “Bounce On In” Fall Fest in conjunction with downtown Grayslake Business Trick-or-Treating event. Held on the front lawn of UPC between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., this free event will include hot coffee for the adults, freshly popped popcorn and lemonade for all and UPC’s inflatable moonwalk for the kids.

A pre-Halloween LifeSource blood drive will be conducted on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at .

For more information or to make an appointment, call (847) 727-1552. Donors age 17 and above are needed and should bring a photo ID with them.

The United Protestant Church of Grayslake is made up of two denominations: the United Methodist Church and the United Church of Christ.  It is a member of the Elgin District of the United Methodist Church and the Fox Valley Association of the United Church of Christ.
