Golf Outing Raises 80K for Charity
Grayslake's Stonewall Orchard was the site of a recent charity golf outing which benefited homeless and at-risk single mothers in the northwest suburbs.
The 16th annual Fellowship Housing Golf Outing, held Aug. 23 at , raised $80,000 for the Hoffman Estates-based non-profit, which aids homeless and at-risk single mothers.
The event has been held at Stonewall for the past seven years.
Major sponsors of the event included Abbott Labs and the Rolf Family. Volunteers included Orsin Healthcare and Amcol International. There were also many local business that participated.
