Grayslake Tree Lighting Ceremony Lights The Night
The holiday season is officially underway, with Santa coming to town at The Oasis and the community tree lit on Center Street.
The Grayslake Tree Lighting Ceremony offered something for everyone, from carriage rides down Center Street to camel rides - yes, camels - near Village Hall, to Santa Claus at The Oasis.
Large crowds turned out for the event on Nov. 25 to ring in the holiday season in a small town, nostalgic way. People enjoyed carolers and the Grayslake Chamber's Winter Market. There were carnival games and hot chocolate. And lots of holiday spirit everywhere, as captured in this photo gallery by Janelle Rominski.
