Mary Kazimer bought her winning ticket at The Pride of Lake County, 20915 North Quentin Road in Lake Zurich.

The following information comes from an Illinois Lottery press release.

“I thought April Fools’ Day might be a particularly lucky day for me and it was!” Mary Kazimer said when she presented her winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket Tuesday at the Illinois Lottery Prize Center in Des Plaines.  The lucky Gurnee resident won $50,000 when her Quick Pick ticket matched all five numbers – 05 - 19 - 21 - 22 – 31 – in the April 1 Lucky Day Lotto midday drawing

Kazimer is married with two children.  She has lived in Gurnee for 13 years.  When asked about her plans for the windfall she said, “We will use some of it for minor home improvements and we might go on a trip to Hawaii!”

An occasional lottery player, Kazimer said she plays Lucky Day Lotto every few months.  She bought her winning ticket at The Pride of Lake County, 20915 North Quentin Road in Lake Zurich.
