Save-A-Pet Animal of the Week

Poor Tyson, aka 'Tye.' His family got a new baby and he just didn't fit in anymore. Could you give him a new home? Meet him at Grayslake's Save-A-Pet.

The good life...I was found as a tiny kitten in a stable and immediately found a family. All was well until a major change happened in my life — the arrival of a baby.

Everybody was all ecstatic except me. I didn't understand all the fuss, all I noticed was less attention, a lot of new noises and smells, a different schedule and I kind of got stressed.

I am a loving and playful cat and all I really want is to be loved. Even though I didn't live with cats, I am actually doing pretty well around them, minding my own business and looking for petting.

So if you are looking for a handsome front-paw declawed guy with two different color eyes, look no further!

Tyson, aka "Tye," is about 6 years old, neutered, up-to-date on routine shots (incl. rabies), has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV and is micro-chipped.

It’s the season to fall in love and all our residents are waiting for someone special to do so. Please visit them at www.saveapetil.org or even better, come out to our adoption center!

Please also note our fall/winter hours:

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Tuesday: closed
Thursday: 1 p.m.-8 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
