Wristbands for Grayslake's Joey Frase to be Sold at Something's Brewing

The friends of Joey Frase, who died Jan. 20 after succumbing to hypothermia, will be selling remembrance wristbands at Something's Brewing Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

A fundraiser for the family of Grayslake resident Joey Frase, who died of hypothermia on Jan. 20 after going missing from a party in Round Lake's Madrona Village, has been organized by his friends.

Wristbands in remembrance of Frase will be sold at Something's Brewing at 82 E. Center Street from 3 p.m. to closing on Wednesday, Feb. 13 and Friday, Feb 15.

On Thursday, Feb. 14, wristbands will be sold at the Something's Brewing location at 1126 E. Washington St. from 3 p.m. to closing.

Wristbands will cost $4 for the first one, and $2 for each additional wristband. The proceeds will benefit the Frase family.

The body of Joey Frase, 20, of Grayslake, was discovered by volunteer searchers the morning of Jan. 22 near Campbell Airport. The official cause of death was hypothermia, according to the coroner.
