The Harvey Family

Members of the pioneer Harvey family will tell their story.  In the 1840s Cyrus Harvey came to the Grays Lake area (there was no village) from Ohio.  Since then, a street in the Village of Grayslake has been named for them and there is a Harvey's subdivision.  Henry Harvey served in the Civil War.  Earl Harvey was a dentist.  There is more to their story.  Come and learn another piece of Grayslake's history.
