Play Ball! Scenes from GYBA's Opening Day
Grayslake Youth Baseball Association held its Opening Day games on Saturday. Here is a sneak peak at the Cubs.
The young players took to the field, excited to be playing ball in the Grayslake Youth Baseball Association's home openers on Saturday.
Grayslake Patch is sponsoring the Cubs, a 9/10 team in the Mustang League, that is full of potential. As a sponsor, I threw out the first pitch before the Cubs took on the Marlins. I am proud to report that while the pitch was high and little wide, it didn't hit the dirt either.
It was a great start to the season for all the teams. Going forward, reporter and baseball fan extraordinaire Mike Stickler will be providing dramatic game coverage of the Cubs and their opponents. We will also be taking pictures and videos of other teams.
