Who or What is LSJ Associates

That is a good question because the Secretary of State does not have a record of such an organization of any type. Is LSJ Associates required to file with the Secretary of State?  I will let the legal types figure that one out.  However this blog is not really about LSJ Associates but rather the "who"

But lets back track if you don't mind.  Three guesses what Illinois Democrat with a famous name is awaiting sentence to federal prison for campaign finance fraud?  Hint...JJ jr.  Yep Jesse Jackson Jr. is headed to prison for spending campaign money for less than scrupulous purposes but you knew that.

"So T what's your point?"  Wellllllll, after looking over our State Representative's campaign disclosure for 2013 thus far, it is noted that Rep Yingling has paid LSJ Associates $3000.00 for Consulting Services.  "That's not so bad T consider Yingling is a freshman and probably needs help".  You are right, normally one would not bat an eye at such an expense, but its the haunting LSJ that keeps me scratching my head.
Act II
Enter Sleuth T stage left.  My research has concluded that LSJ is none other than Lowell Seth Jaffe.  "Who's that "T"? Sleuth T gently puffing on his pipe...Lowell S. Jaffee is Sam Yinlgling's life partner and co-owner of the Grayslake Mansion on Highland Lake. "Oh that LSJ".

Why is Yingling using campaign donations to pay his partner?  If you were a conspiracy theorist (....James....) you may think they could be using campaign donations to pay the mortgage if they had a mortgage (that's another story), or maybe simple utilities.  $3K for six months of utilities isn't out of reach for a mansion.

Bottom line is why would you pay your partner, your best friend, your co-habitant, your confident any money.  Isn't sharing, helping and supporting just part of a relationship?  Do you have to pay for it?

Mr. Yingling, you appear to be crossing that bridge that divides ethics from nefarious dealings.
