Lake County shoppers will find great deals for their children just before school starts.
The Penny Posh children’s consignment sale will be held at the Lake County Fairgrounds beginning Friday Aug. 2 and running through Sunday, Aug. 4.
Penny Posh is the new name of an area favorite in the industry, Brand Name Consignments, which was featured on WGN.
The August event will include gently-used infant through teen clothing, toys, books, equipment, gear, room décor, and more. Shoppers will find names like Mini Boden, Hannah Anderson, Tea, Janie and Jack, Gymboree, J. Crew, Gap Kids, Abercrombie and Fitch, LL. Bean and many more.
Vendors will be on site demonstrating and selling various products including Fabulous Fun Fashion Finds, Blithe and Bonny Handmade Handbags, Mary Kay, Juice Plus, and more.
Consignor and volunteer slots are still available. Consigning is an eco-friendly way to earn extra money. Registration for consigning and volunteering can be found at www.pennyposh.net. Most unsold items will be donated.
The Lake County Fairgrounds is located at 1060 E. Peterson Road in Grayslake. The sale will be held in the west side of the Expo Building. Parking can be accessed through the west entrance off of Peterson Road.The sale will be held on Aug. 2 from 5 to 8 p.m., Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon.
