Black Friday: Must-Shop Locations in Grayslake

The holiday shopping season kicks off in a big way next week when retailers in and near Grayslake officially celebrate Black Friday and more recently, Small Business Saturday.

That fabled day after Thanksgiving is one of the biggest sales days of the year for many stores – both national, big box chains and local retailers. It’s also one of the best days to save on items big and small as retailers pull out the stops to offer amazing deals to get customers in their doors.

The latter is exactly why we want to help Grayslake Patch readers map out a Black Friday and Small Business Saturday game plan. But to do that, we need your help.

• Barron Jewelers at 649 N Route 83, next to That Pasta Place, will be selling all silver at 50 percent off for Black Friday (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) and Small Business Saturday (10 a.m.-3 p.m). This is a special we offer only once a year. Barron Jewelers is owned by my wife Mindy, said Mario Villanueva. We are a full retail store and carry 10k, 14k, 18k gold, platinum, silver and watches. In addition to custom designing engagement rings and other jewelry, we also repair jewelry and watches.
