Crawl For The Kids June 23

Downtown Grayslake pub crawl is a night on the town for a good cause.

Live music, drink specials and a good cause. Mix it all together and you get the third annual Crawl for the Kids. The event takes place beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, Saturday, June 23.

Organizer Brendan Rafferty said there will be prize raffles and 50/50 drawings. There will also be a prize awarded to the girl in the most creative/decorated/bedazzled T-shirt. Custom T-shirts were pre-ordered. At the event, people can purchase a wristband from Abel's for a $10 donation.

The Crawl for the Kids raises money for the Daniel Barry Memorial skate park in Grayslake. Over 215 people are expected to attend.

The crawl begins at . There will be lunch, dinner and tequila specials for anyone in the Crawl T-shirt from noon to 7:30 p.m.

  • from 8 - 9 p.m. with Raymond and the Profesionals

  • from 9:15 - 10:15 p.m. with DJ Primo

  • from 10:30 - 11:30 p.m. with Piano Stu

  • from 11:45 p.m. - 12:45 a.m. with a DJ (to be announced)

  • "Each year this event grows and is a great time with great people so come on out for a great night out for a great cause!" Rafferty said on the Crawl for the Kids Facebook event page.
