Do the Bunny 'Bar' Hop for Charity

Donate an item to a charity Easter basket and get a plastic egg with a treat or special prize.

The second annual Bunny Bar Hop for charity will be held Saturday, March 23 in downtown Grayslake.

Event organizers are hoping to fill more than 200 Easter baskets for a battered woman's shelter for single mothers.

Participating establishments include Charlie's, Emil's, Light the Lamp and The Vine.

The event begins at 7 p.m.

Attendees are asked to bring an Easter basket item (candy, coloring books, fake grass, jelly beans, bubbles or small toys, etc.) to one of the bars. In return, they'll receive a plastic egg containing a treat or prize from one of the local businesses.

There will also be specials at each establishment.
