Grayslake Business Trick-Or-Treating

Want to fill your Halloween bucket even more? Local businesses will offer their own treats.

Head downtown on Saturday, Oct. 27 for the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce annual "Halloween Fall Festival and Business Trick or Treat."

Kids can "trick-or-treat" at various downtown businesses from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Village of Grayslake will also host an open house featuring candy, a tour of the village hall, an opportunity to sit in a police car and public works truck and a chance to win a free membership to the Grayslake Aquatic Center.

The Grayslake Fall Farmers Market will also be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day.

Candy alternative

Parents looking for an alternative to Halloween candy can bring their kids to the businesses of 15 Commerce Drive for special treats.

"Drop by anytime during the day on Wednesday, Oct. 31 in costume to visit our businesses and grab a treat," said Kricia Doescher, of Pediatric Interactions, Inc.

Some of the business participating in the 1st annual "15 Commerce Drive Non-candy Trick or Treat" include: Pediatric Interactions; Therapeutic Links; Little Heroes; Grayslake Massage and Body Therapy; Debby & Company Hair Studio; Vista Health System; Grace Community Bible Church; and The Cleaning Authority.
