Grayslake has New Shopping App

The all-new Shop Grayslake Mobile Phone App is now available for free download from the iPhone App Store and the Google Play App Store.

Designed specifically for Grayslake, the app features many useful tools for businesses to market to consumers and for Grayslake customers to redeem discounts and follow their favorite Grayslake businesses. 

The Village of Grayslake and the Grayslake Economic Development Commission initiated the Shop Grayslake Mobile Phone App to take advantage of the growing smartphone trend and to offer a tool to assist the Grayslake business community in reaching their customers. The app is a free service for Grayslake business license holders, paid for by the Village of Grayslake. 

The app features many useful tools for businesses to market to consumers, including: 

• Business Directory: A listing of all participating Grayslake businesses, organized alphabetically or by business category. 
• “Perks”: “Perks” are discounts or promotions offered by businesses to customers. The app allows customers to redeem “perks” using their phone. 
• Punch Card: Similar to a paper punch card, the app can serve as a digital punch card for businesses to award customers for frequent purchases/visits. 
• Push Notifications: Follow your favorite business and receive updates when new “perks” / promotions are added or get updates on events and special announcements.
