Grayslake Orthodontist Wants Your Candy!

A Halloween candy buy back program through local dentist and orthodontist offices will benefit Operation Gratitude, which sends holiday care packages to troops overseas.

Did your kids collect way too much Halloween candy? Do you really want them (or you) eating it through Christmas?

Why not donate it to our troops overseas by dropping it off to Dr. Michael S. Stosich at iDentity Orthodontics in Grayslake?

"Starting Nov. 1 through Nov. 8, we are buying back new, unopened candy for $1 per pound up to 5 pounds per person," said Dana Ellicson, treatment and marketing coordinator at iDentity Orthodontics.

Children will also receive a new toothbrush for their donation.

Ellicson said students at St. Gilbert Catholic School are also donating their Halloween candy to the cause, which will help the troops and their school. Dr. Stosich will give the school $1 per pound of candy that is donated by the students.
