The 42,000-square foot Dave & Buster's restaurant/arcade will replace seven mall spaces at Westfield Hawthorn mall in Vernon Hills when it opens on Wednesday, March 26 as the chain's fourth location in the Chicago area, according to the Daily Herald.
The restaurant/arcade, at 424 Hawthorn Center, will have its own exterior and will include 740 available seats, 150 arcade games, and 17 different TV screens to watch sporting events around the circular bar, according to the Daily Herald.
The move is part of $50 million in ongoing renovations to update the 1970s-era mall, which includes a 12,000-seat AMC theater, new electronic signs and upgrades to the food court, according to the article.
The new Dave & Buster's will offer specials for its grand opening on March 26. By signing up for rewards on the Dave & Buster's website, visitors can get a coupon for $10 of free game play with the purchase of $10 in game play.
The restaurant/arcade will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
