Pazazz! Pops Up in Grayslake

A new gift boutique opens its doors offering a selection of invitations, announcements, gifts and more.

Nestled next to the UPS Store in the Atkinson Center shopping center at Atkinson Road and Center Street is a punch of ! that Grayslake has been missing. A new gift boutique that offers a full gamet of gifts like custom die-cut invitations, personalized stationary, huge mylar balloons, gift baskets, purses, bags, scented pencils and so much more.

"This shop has been in the back of my head for years," said owner Rachelle Ryan, a Grayslake native, who would drive to Wisconsin to get baby announcements or invitations. "I could never find them around here."

The mother of five wanted to offer something unique to area residents. Pazazz! was started with the idea of die-cut custom invitations and announcements, and notepads that can be  personalized, and expanded to gift baskets, balloons, purses, bags, even home-made baby blankets.

"We really have something to appeal to everyone," said Ryan who opened the store in the midst of a tough economy simply because she felt this was something Grayslake needed. "We have a flair for fun and a touch of whimsy and I think everyone needs a bit of Pazazz! in their life."

Pazazz is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sundays and Mondays by appointment. You can reach Ryan at pazazzgrayslake@aol.com or 847-752-8282. Ryan will also have a booth at the Grayslake Summer Days set for August 17 and 18.
