Public invited to no-cost workshop “Investing for Higher Income in a Low Yield Environment”
Grayslake, IL, June 3, 2014: With interest rates at or near historic lows for more than five years, these are very challenging times for anyone trying to save. With that in mind, Consumers Credit union (CCU; $617 Million, Waukegan, IL) is hosting a no-cost educational workshop, “Investing for Higher Income in a Low Yield Environment.” The seminar is produced in cooperation with Consumers Financial & Investment Services (CF & IS), a strategic partner of CCU.
The workshop, headed by Erik Primosch (pictured below), Vice President of Major Markets covering the Chicago Region for Cole Real Estate Investments, will outline the steps necessary to help maximize savings while also establishing a strong base for retirement. Erik is well versed in the practice of both building and maintaining investment relationships within the real estate and financial communities – expertise he'll share with those attending the workshop.
“The right investment strategy is crucial to navigating a successful path to retirement,” said Sean M. Rathjen, CCU President. “In order to do this, it’s necessary to equip ourselves with the tools required to effectively capitalize on the opportunities available to us in today’s market. This workshop will offer options to help you make the best choices for your personal situation while providing answers to questions specific to your individual situation. It’s a great opportunity to gather the information you need so you can confidently look towards the future.”
"Investing for Higher Income in a Low Yield Environment” is open to both the public and credit union Members at no cost. The seminar is presented by Consumers Credit Union in cooperation with CF & IS and Consumers Cooperative Association, the credit union's sponsor.
