CCSD 46 Education Foundation: An Inspiring Mission

Welcome to the CCSD 46 Education Foundation blog spot!

We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the educational experience offered to the children in the District by funding programs, teacher mini-grants, and initiatives that foster 21st Century learning experiences in the areas of technology, innovation, cultural arts, and enrichment. We plan to achieve our mission through grant writing, corporate sponsorships, private tax-deductible donations, and a few local fundraising events each year.

The Foundation is in no way affiliated with any political party or outside organization. While we operate independently of the School Board and District administration, our hope is to have a successful collaborative relationship with the District to promote a quality of education that is equal to or stronger than the educational opportunities available to children in more affluent communities.

We are dedicated to ensuring that the education of our children is exemplary regardless of tough economic times and a limited commercial tax base. Good schools are in everybody’s interest. Making them better is what the CCSD 46 Education Foundation is all about!

Our sole focus is the students of the District and creating opportunities that will inspire them to work harder, aim higher, delve deeper, and achieve more. All community members are invited to help us realize our mission. We hope you’ll be inspired to help us help the most valuable treasure our community shares: Our kids and their futures.
