FedEx Ground Partners with Foundation to Fund D46 Destination ImagiNation

FedEx Ground has been named the 2012 D46 Destination ImagiNation sponsor, financially supporting all aspects of the 2012 season.

The CCSD46 Education Foundation Board of Directors is proud to announce our partnership with FedEx Ground®, a Fortune 500 company new to Grayslake. FedEx Ground has graciously agreed to be our Official 2012 D46 Destination ImagiNation® Platinum Partner.  Our partnership with FedEx Ground will financially support all aspects of the Foundation's 2012 Destination ImagiNation season. This funding will support a uniquely innovative extra-curricular activity for 44 students on 7 Destination ImagiNation teams across District 46.

These teams will compete at the Destination ImagiNation Regional Tournament on March 3rd, 2012 at Juarez Middle School in Waukegan. Sixteen parents have volunteered to manage DI teams and support the program. Team Managers with varied professional backgrounds such as education, oncology research, small business ownership, aviation, and business management consulting lead the seven teams.

Six D46 staff members will serve as volunteer appraisers at the Regional Tournament in support of our students. A very special thank you to Elisa Speck, Kathleen Davis, Stacia Dirks, Melanie Palo, Joan Ramotar & Sylvia Romero!
