Celebrate St. Valentine’s, Romance At The Grayslake Library

Valentine's Day events at the Grayslake Library bring fun for all.

Stop by the Grayslake Library this February and check out some of our Valentine’s themed programs.  No registration is required for any of these Valentine events.   • Friends of the Grayslake Library’s Romance Paperback Book Sale
  • Thursday, February 9 until sold out

The Friends of the library are holding a special self-serve, paperback book sale beginning on February 9. The sale will continue until they are sold out. There will be hundreds of popular romance authors and titles to choose from, all at great prices and with no shipping or handling costs!  Do you have any books (fiction and non-fiction), audiobooks, DVDs or music CDs you’d like to donate?  The Friends are looking for donations of these items. No registration or sign-up required, just stop on by during library hours!

  • Concert for St. Valentine’s
  • Sunday, February 12 at 2 p.m.

The Third performance in the Winter Concert Series at the library. There are 6 strings on a guitar and 4 strings on a violin. These ten strings and the blending of acoustic guitar and classical violin, create a unique and beautiful sound.  Musical duo, Ten Strings, will present a musical concert to reflect on the beauty of winter and to observe the day. Bring yourself, your family and loved ones to celebrate some of the world’s “love-liest” music. And, there may be some chocolate involved… No registration required.
