Center Street in Grayslake Closed For Repairs

Railroad crossing repairs in downtown Grayslake have closed Center Street from May 22 - 25.

The main entrance into downtown Grayslake is closed this week. Drivers who turn off Route 83 onto Center Street hoping to reach the downtown businesses will be disappointed as the road is closed at the railroad tracks.

The Village of Grayslake stated on their website that the Canadian National Railroad plans repairs on the line through town from at Center Street from May 22 to May 25.

The closure dates are approximate and may be extended due to inclement weather or obstacles encountered during construction.
