ComEd: Isolated Power Outage Through June 25

The Northern Region was the hardest hit by power outages, and 15,000 homes are still in the dark.

ComEd has restored power for 394,000 homes across Illinois as of Friday afternoon, but 19,000 homes are still without power, according to a Commonwealth Edison spokesperson.

The company says the Northern Region has been most specifically impacted by the power outage, with 15,000 homes still in the dark.

Power is expected to be restored in most areas by midnight on June 24, but there will be isolated outages that will go on until June 25, according to ComEd.
