Why Go?: Local band, Johnny K & Tempest Rising, with featured musical guests, perform at this concert sponsored by the Lake Forest Hearing Professionals.

Where/When: Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Feet First Exhibition Hall, 3333 Green Bay Rd., North Chicago; 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday, May 27 and 28.

Why Go?: View an exhibit of a visual interpretation of a Healthcare Superhero through the drawings, paintings and three-dimensional objects made by kids. The exhibit is a collaboration between the North Chicago Community Partners and the Boys & Girls Club of Lake County.

Where/When: , 300 S. Waukegan Rd., Lake Forest; 8 - 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, May 27 and 28.

Why Go?: Experience the that pokes fun at the mysteries of Agatha Christie.

Pricing: $35, $32 for students and seniors

Where / When: Viper Alley, 275 Parkway Dr., Lincolnshire; 8:30 - 11 p.m., Friday, May 27.

Why Go?: Listen to your favorite feel-good tunes with Chicago-based iPop. The band of five experienced musicians plays a wide variety of genres including current and classic favorites, dance anthems and nostalgic sing-a-longs. Bar and kitchen open at 5 p.m. and the show begins at 8:30 p.m.

Where/When: , 412 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville; 10 p.m., Friday, May 27.

Why Go?: Enjoy a high-energy performance of Chicago's power pop band Almost Famous, featuring Johnny Monaco. Hear a mixture of rock, pop and dance music of the 80s to today, from Queen, The Strokes and Weezer to Eminem and the theme song from The Brady Bunch.
