Get Out: Treasure Hunt, Storytelling And More

Where/When: , Jones Island Park, 243 Harvey Ave, Grayslake; 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., Saturday, June 11.

Why Go?: 1st annual local volunteer shoreline clean-up of Gray's Lake. Gold coins will be hidden for volunteers to find and then redeem for prizes donated by local merchants. Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, goodie bag and food provided by Piggly Wiggly, Rudy's Mexican Grill and Mitch's. Scuba divers from Big Kahuna Scuba will give a demonstration.

Where/When: , 50 Commerce Drive, Grayslake; 6 - 9 p.m., Friday, June 10.

Why Go?: Have fun and help raise funds for the Exchange Club of Grayslake's Relay for Life team, "Exchange" Cancer for a Cure. Magic and Illusion featuring Ed Garcia, trivia and kids games, 50/50 raffle, pizza, pop and surprises. Luminaria Bags will be available for a donation. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Pricing: $5 per person or $10 for a family of 4

Where/When: , 2150 Drury Lane, Grayslake; 1 - 3:30 p.m., Saturday, June 11.

Why Go?: Fun, family event for all levels of golfers. Yellow ball contest and various on-course challenges. The event will be handicapped. Prizes and refreshments are included.

Pricing: $25 per team (parent and junior golfer)

Where / When:; 10 - 11 a.m., Saturday, June 11.

Why Go?: Storyteller Bob Kann will share stories from around the world. This free family event will include juggling, comedy, magic and lots of audience participation.

Pricing: Free

Where/When: , North Bay Pavilion, 16400 W. Buckley Rd., Libertyville; 12 - 6 p.m., Saturday, June 4.

Why Go?: Paddle a canoe in the evening when the water is calm and critters are active. This event is for adults and children 14 and up.

Pricing: $12 for Lake County residents; $16 for non-residents

Where / When: , 1060 E. Peterson Rd., Grayslake; 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 and 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Sunday, June 12. 

Why Go?: Premier monthly antique market featuring vintage clothing and accessories.

Pricing: $6 for adults; free for children 12 and under
