Grayslake Woman Chosen for Ecology Study in Belize

Katherine Hart of Grayslake will travel to Belize this summer to participate in a global graduate studies program in the Central American country of Belize.

Beginning in late July, Katherine Hart, of Grayslake, will study conservation and marine ecology in the Central American country of Belize.

Hart is the Resource Development Manager for the Lake County Forest Preserve District.

The graduate courses from Miami University's Project Dragonfly are based on Earth Expeditions, which has engaged more than 1,400 people since 2004 in firsthand educational and scientific research at critical conservation field sites in Africa, Australia, Asia and the Americas.
