Church in the 21st Century

This service will be a 10-year celebration of Prairie Circle Unitarian UniversalistCongregation, and  will include reflections on what the church could be or should be to be relevant now.

Rev. Dr. Clare Butterfield is an ordained Unitarian Universalist community minister, and a long-time  friend of Prairie Circle. She was the founder and director of Faith in Place, an interfaith environmental organization, for 14 years, and recently became the Program Director at the Illinois Science and Energy Innovation Foundation. In all of this work she has retained an interest in the kinds of ideas that motivate human beings not only to think differently but also to act differently. Her insights are informed by interactions with hundreds of congregations and thousands of people over her years at both organizations.
