Free Lecture - Stories from Buddhism
Stories from Buddhism
Religions use stories to
convey spiritual insights because stories catch our attention and are
multi-layered, challenging, and involving. Religious stories shape our view of the world, give it meaning, and have the power to tell profound truths simply and memorably. Jerrol Leitner examines stories and parables from Buddhism that offer
insights into the cause of human suffering and its release.
This free lecture is part of Wildwood Presbyterian Church's ongoing Tuesday Night Lecture series. This lecture is open to the public.
